Most of my best ideas start as "what if I just..." and end with me three weeks deep into a rabbit hole, mass-reading docs at 2am. These are the ones that actually made it out of the terminal and into the real world — open source tools, side projects, and experiments that scratched an itch no existing solution could reach. Some are polished, some are beautifully scrappy, all were fun to build.
